What can go wrong

This booking error can cost your customer their hotel reservation

A guest can pay in full and still be turned away at the desk. Payment issues are one of the most common — and most avoidable — causes of a lost reservation.

A travel business that takes booking errors lightly is taking its own reputation lightly. After a long journey, a guest is looking forward to rest — being told their reservation isn't in the system instead is the kind of thing that ends badly for the business behind it, not just the trip.

What a "payment issue" actually is

One of the most common causes is a payment that simply doesn't reflect in the hotel's system, despite the customer having genuinely paid. The customer is left embarrassed and confused as to why they're being denied a reservation they already paid for — and the business is left with a customer who no longer trusts it, and often a compensation bill besides.

Preventing a booking error is always cheaper than compensating for a bad experience it caused — and a customer who had a bad check-in rarely books through the same business twice.

This is why rePUSHTI re-verifies payment information for every booking and reports it back to the travel company — so by the time the guest reaches the hotel, any payment mismatch is already sorted, not discovered at the desk.
