rePUSHTI, by Qtech Software, presented at Innovation: Launch — the Phocuswright Conference's programme for companies changing the travel industry — on 14 November 2023, at The Phocuswright Conference in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, Florida. Both co-founders, Paresh Parihar and Rahul Kathet, were on hand to exhibit and demo the product.

One of eleven, on the industry's biggest research stage

Phocuswright is travel's own research authority, and Innovation: Launch is its platform for the companies it considers worth watching. rePUSHTI presented alongside ten other companies, in front of what Phocuswright itself calls the industry's most savvy and engaged audience.

Many of them incorporating artificial intelligence in meaningful ways.

What was on the table

rePUSHTI's own listing put it plainly: a solution to a problem the industry had been quietly absorbing the cost of for years — disorganised booking re-verification eating into the margins of agencies, agents and suppliers through the resources, operations and call costs it demands. Automating that process with AI brought the cost down from the $5–10 a booking it typically ran, to roughly $1.
